DRIPPING IN GOLD: COURTNEY & JASON'S GLAMOROUS WEDDING AT THE ANDAZ SCOTTSDALE RESORT
When Kelly Matheson of BTS Management reached out to Spags Entertainment for ideas to bring the vibe for their super fun couple, Courtney and Jason, we were all in! We love when our couples want to add those extra elements of fun and surprise to keep their guests entertained, and these two did not disappoint.
From start to finish, their wedding was a vision of glamour, dripping in gold. When we received the design board from Kelly, we knew we had to match the energy of this luxurious event. I decided to outfit our team of seven (Violin, Sax, Percussion, Guitar, Vocalist, DJ, and MC) in variations of gold and black to complement the stunning decor.
The day was nothing short of magical. The couple chose an orchestral accompaniment for their ceremony and cocktail hour, setting the perfect sophisticated tone. As guests transitioned into the ballroom for dinner and dancing, our team was there to greet them, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
The biggest surprise of the night? Our groom, Jason, made an unforgettable cameo to kick off dancing, singing his own rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.” We knew this fun, personal touch would be a huge hit with guests, and it did not disappoint!
Spags Entertainment specializes in DJ/Band hybrid groups, making them the ideal choice for couples who can’t decide between a DJ or a live band. This approach delivers the best of both worlds, creating an energetic, interactive experience that keeps the dance floor packed. Not only that, but we excel at deconstructing the DJ/Band to tailor performances for different moments throughout the wedding. For Courtney and Jason, we had our musicians stroll during dinner, keeping the atmosphere lively, while our vocalist made a big reveal during the grand entrance, elevating the excitement in the room.
